Description
After a very successful and well received course last year, Peter Griffiths from IHunt DownUnder (over a million followers on social media) will be running his bowhunting course here at Naturally Sufficient again.
Peter has hunted pretty much every single type of animal in Australia from deer to buffalo and even crocodiles. He currently hold the Australian record for the biggest buffalo and second biggest red deer as well as being the ABA Bowhunter of the year 2021. So you’ll surely learn something for this hunting legend.
The course would include everything you need to know to be a proficient bowhunter, including hunting ethics, regulations, equipment, tuning, sambar behaviours, tracking, shot placement, dressing/butchering and a few bonus topics such as gaining private properties and archery competition plus more.
The course be held at our farm in Flowerdale, Victoria and will start Friday night 7pm with meet & greet over casual drinks. Then the workshop will officially kick off at 9am the next day and continue until Sunday afternoon around 4pm. We will reserve a spot of a guided hunt with Pete for the Monday after for those who wants to put what they learnt into practice.
This is your opportunity to meet new friends and maybe even your next hunting partner. All food will be provided (breakfast, snack, lunch & dinner) with our farm fresh produce, with everyone involved in fun meal preparation. For those who are joining us via online, you’ll receive the same quality instructions as everyone else.
Note: Please bring your bow (can be compound or recurve) as well as a minimum of 6-12 of the same arrows with the weighted heads equal to your broadheads for training.
PS. The onsite workshop doesn’t include accommodation which can be purchased at additional cost.
PSS. We are so confident of the training that if you’re not completely happy with the quality after the first half day segment, we will give a full money back guarantee.
